On stage
Here you’ll find a selection of my concert photography, with a particular focus on classical music. From intimate chamber performances to large-scale orchestral concerts, I aim to capture the atmosphere, emotion and energy of each performance in an authentic and compelling way.
Most of these photographs were made during live concerts and dress rehearsals — in halls such as the Concertgebouw and the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, and on location for productions like the Prinsengrachtconcert for AVROTROS. A concert hall asks for a photographer who works quietly and in available light, and who knows the score well enough to see the moment coming.
Looking for a photographer to capture your concert, production or musical project? I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
